About Gibbs Livestock

Gibbs Livestock Services LLC. was formed July of 2017, in Miles City, MT where Collin and Kimberly Gibbs along with their two daughters Morgan(4) and Teagan (2) reside. Collin grew up on a cow/calf, yearling and sheep operation 30 miles east of Jordan and wife Kimberly grew up N of San Antonio, TX and was actively involved in her family operation. They both hold degrees in agriculture and have put them to use in different settings all over the Western United States.
Kimberly currently teaches agriculture based curriculum at the local community college covering animal production, business, and range which is what her M.S. degree is in. She works full time at that and also manages the house, children and most importantly Collin everyday. She has been the main reason that Collin has been able to pursue his lifelong dream of owning his own business and traveling to the livestock markets as an auctioneer.
After college Collin took a position with AgriBeef Co. in Parma, ID at a 20,000 head feedlot and learned the ropes of feeding high risk cattle. He then transferred to Moses Lake, WA into the El ORO cattle feeders division of the company and primarily helped with cattle management, which involved shipping/receiving, fat cattle sorting and processing. It was a great experience and he made some lifelong friends but he decided to move back to Montana and be closer to family. In the spring of 2009 he took a position with Westfeeds
and worked as a territory manger learning the feed business. In January of 2013 he got an opportunity to go to work for Miles City Livestock Commission as a field rep/yard man and got the opportunity to try his hand at auctioneering which has been a lifelong goal. Never completely leaving the feed business he went back to work for Westfeeds in a time where they were aggressively growing. In the summer of 2017 the opportunity came for Collin and Kim to acquire their own feed dealership and after much deliberation they decided to form their own company and brand.
In the fall Kim is at the college teaching the new crop of young adults and holding classes at the new Ag Advancement center in Miles City, while also making sure of when the truck loads of feed are landing and that everything is ready. Collin is on the road either delivering feed or selling cattle at Miles City Livestock, Belle Fourche Livestock. They want to make a positive impact on the agriculture industry in the state of Montana and get to know more of the people in it.

We sincerely do appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to get to know us. We hope we get an opportunity to get to know you and your families better, and hope that we can provide some value to you either through products or just industry knowledge if we can. Thanks again.
